Brian Stroop

Based in New York, Brian joined Guy Carpenter in 2005 and places treaty and facultative reinsurance for North American, London-based, and Global Marine & Energy insurance companies.  As head of the US Marine and Energy team, Brian is responsible for facilitating close collaboration between colleagues and offices to structure unique and customized reinsurance and capital solutions for Guy Carpenter clients.  Brian worked in Guy Carpenter’s UK Marine & Energy team from 2011 – 2013 prior to returning to New York.  A graduate of the University of Richmond, Brian lives in Connecticut with his wife and two children.
