Maurzio Borgatti
I have worked in the charity sector for 12 years, having transitioned for a Sales & Marketing career in the commercial sector in the UK. I have worked for charities such as Save the Children, The British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK. My specialism is the acquisition and development of corporate partnerships, previously I have worked on the Tesco and GSK partnerships, which are two of the biggest ever sector partnerships.
I have been at the Mission for almost 4 years, and I have enjoyed working within the Maritime sector. I place great value on the reach and scope of the work the Mission does, and I believe we truly serve the global community of seafarers wherever they might be. I think the Maritime time sector is a fascinating area to work in and the impact of seafarers on our lives, and the global economy should always be valued. Mutually beneficial corporate partnerships are invaluable to the Mission’s work, and I enjoy building partnerships that have meaningful staff engagement at their core.
As the Mission grows and develops as a charity it is essential, we stay relevant and meaningful to the many corporates who support our work
My hobbies include tennis, photography, theatre, and London history.
