Paul Fry

Paul joined Skuld in 2016 to assume overall responsibility for the Hull portfolio and the role of Deputy Active Underwriter for the Skuld Lloyd’s Syndicate.

Since June 2019, Skuld moved the Hull and Offshore business onto corporate paper and Paul’s role is now ‘Senior Vice President, Head of Hull, London’ & ‘Head of London Office’, managing an experienced team of underwriters and maintaining close links with the Skuld global offices.

Paul’s career began in 1994, working for leading marine insurance companies and syndicates in Lloyd’s.

• Marlborough Underwriting Agency (BRM 1861) from 2000 to 2004
• Aspen Insurance (ASP 4711) from October 2004 to 2016
• Skuld since October 2016

Paul is currently the IUA Chairman of the Joint Hull Committee, a member of IUMI’s Ocean Hull Committee and the IUA’s Marine Technical Committee.
