William Cho

Having built a distinguished career in insurance risk management, William joined CAC Specialty’s Natural Resources division as Director of Claims and Client Advocacy with a strong background in representative claim work and risk assessment in several industries, including marine and cargo, energy – onshore/offshore, renewables and commercial property.

Previously, William served as Executive Vice President at MatthewsDaniel where he provided both loss adjusting and metocean expert witness services, investigated energy and marine claims and performed pre-loss risk assessments for energy and marine clients.

William has given presentations and published articles on numerous topics.  He has lived and traveled to over 20 countries and owns a vast library collection of over 30,000 books. His commitment to serving and educating his peers is exemplified by his service on the PETEX board of advisors and the board of the Houston Claims Association, as well as on the planning committee of the Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference.  William is also a working group member of OWTAP (Offshore Wind Technical Advisory Panel), a subcommittee of AWEA (American Wind Energy Association), and a member of Houston Mariner’s Club since 2006.
